Valentine’s Day is around the corner, so I would like to share some easy and fun ideas that will make you fall in love with DIY crafts.
List of materials
- mason jars
- ribbon (lace, tulle and gold)
- paper straws
- stickers (hearts)
- 2 small clay pots
- 2 clay pot trays
- spray paint (gold)
- wood name tags
- Scissors and glue stick
- personalized labels
Project#1: Candle Holders
First, spray paint the clay small pots and let them dry overnight. Then, turn the pots upside down and glue the tray on top. This will create a vase for your candle. Decorate with your favorite heart sticker. Very quick and simple…you have 2 beautiful gold candle holders.
Alternative: You may also use the clay pots as a candy jar, by adding a small glass bowl on top and fill it with your favorite candy.
Project#2: Dress Up Your Mason Jars
I used about a 2 inch wide lace ribbon to wrap around the jar. I also used 1 1/2 gold ribbon, a red glitter heart sticker to add color and tie in with the theme. I designed some beautiful labels to decorate the straws and tags.
Now, here is a sneak peak of a beautiful and romantic Valentine’s Day dessert table display. The gold clay pots became the candy jars, and the mason jars display the personlaized straws and labels. More pictures of this party coming soon to our site.
