MLC Event Planning is a family owned and operated business run by three sisters, Myriam, Lourdes and Claudia. MLC is dedicated to plan and coordinate any type of event, from Weddings, Quinceañeras, Sweet 16 to Kid's birthday parties, Bridal and Baby Showers.

Myriam‘s passion for cooking and entertaining always inspired her to create and organize events for family and friends. It all began with a cousin’s bridal shower in 1998, where she discovered her creative talent and passion for event planning. While working full-time and being a mother of two boys, she found time to help friends with unique ideas for their parties and plan events. For her, even on a tight budget, you should be able to pay attention to details and create a memorable event. A few years ago, she founded MLC Event Planning with her two sisters. She holds a Bachelor in International Business Management Trilingual and a Master in Public Administration.

Lourdes has always had a passion for design and decor. She is enthusiastic, motivated with many creative ideas. Since she was young she has always enjoyed organizing her friends and family gatherings and events. In August 2010 she and sisters established MLC Event Planning as a business organizing any type of event including Halloween parties, weddings, baptisms, birthdays, bridal showers, and many others. In addition, Lourdes is using her creativity to design crafts for the MLC shop such as gift boxes and baby artwork. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Business with a concentration in Marketing and also a Master's degree in Public Administration.

Claudia admires her sisters' creativity for designing and creating beautiful events. She wanted to be part of something great along with her two sisters and why not founding an event planning business? She is determined to make any customer wants and needs come true. She has experienced in helping to organize any type of event. MLC event planning is welcome to adjust to any customer' limited budget and still make it dazzling, elegant or casual. She is looking forward to make this business grow by making it appealing for prospective clients. Claudia holds a Bachelor degree in Business, graduating Magna Cum Laude.

  • Assist to hire an Officiant for the ceremony
  • Provide a complete list of vendors
  • Assist on the design, color/theme chosen, and invitations
  • Coordinate wedding rehearsal for the ceremony. (Includes line up and timing)

Wedding Day Coordination

  • FREE Wedding website
  • Contract for 8 hours
  • Initial meeting
  • Provide wedding timeline
  • Greet the guests
  • Direct processional and recessional line up
  • Guide guests to the Reception Hall
  • Direct the Photographer
  • Distribute any final payments to the vendors
  • Supervise the reception
  • Address any last minute bride and groom request seamlessly
  • Secure all gifts and envelope box with person of your choice
  • Carry Bride’s emergency kit at all times

Quinceañera and Sweet 16

  • Initial meeting
  • Provide a list of vendors
  • Assist with the décor and party ideas
  • Host the event

Kids Birthday Parties

  • Host the party and greet the guests
  • Rent cotton candy, popcorn, bubble machine, and puppet stand (include puppets)
  • Provide ideas for décor and party games
  • Decorate cake, candy and favors table with selected theme
